Welcome to the Florence, Alabama, CBS Website

Our class is comprised of women of all ages, from all walks of life, and whose Bible knowledge spans from none to advanced. We also offer a robust NextGen children’s program for children from birth to 18 years old.

Come, see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Class participants receive a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in a brief opening, a core group discussion of the questions in the study for that week, and a wrap-up lesson taught by the Teaching Director at the end.   

CBS is a participation ministry, books are available for members only.  This curriculum may not be sold or resold.  It is available for the exclusive use of registered active participants in Community Bible Study.

Our class meets weekly during the school year on Wednesday mornings from 9:45 – 12:00. 

You may register online at florenceal.cbsclass.org, or start the process now by clicking on the REGISTER button above.  If you prefer, in-person registration will be held July 31^st from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Woodmont Baptist Church, 2001 Darby Drive, Florence.

Registration fees:   Adult $35 - Children $10

Scholarships available upon request

(Please note there is a process from registration to enrollment.  You will receive two emails.  The first email will thank you for registering.  A second email will be sent with payment instructions once the class coordinator has completed the enrollment process based on class space availability)
